As the 2022 midterm elections are quickly approaching, the 2024 presidential election season will follow soon after.

Candidates will likely start announcing their intentions to run for president within months of this November’s Election Day, or possibly sooner. Several potential candidates, including President Biden and former President Trump, have hinted or discussed being open to making runs for the White House in two years.

Beyond the two major political parties, a number of politicians and celebrities have signaled or directly said they are contemplating runs as independents.

While independent candidates would be long shots to win the presidency, history has shown that they can play key roles in the outcome of the race, such as with Ross Perot in 1992 and Ralph Nader in 2000.

Here are five potential independent candidates who appear most likely to run for president in 2024:

Liz Cheney

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) most recently fueled discussion of her making an independent run for the presidency last weekend when she said she will not remain a member of the Republican Party if Trump becomes the GOP nominee in 2024.

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has seen her influence in the Republican Party decline precipitously since she condemned Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection and his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Cheney was once seen as a possible candidate for Speaker but was removed from her position as GOP conference chair in May 2021 in response to her unwillingness to join most of her Republican colleagues in saying that the 2020 election was stolen.

Her loss in the Republican primary for her House seat to Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman is set to end her time in Congress, but her concession speech signaled Cheney may not be finished in politics.

Cheney promised to do “whatever it takes” to prevent Trump from returning to the White House. She also said “now the real work begins,” given that her primary race is over, and referenced former presidents Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses Grant, who worked to keep the country together during the Civil War.

Cheney said after her loss that she is “thinking about” running in 2024, but did not clarify if it would be in the GOP primary or as an independent.

A Yahoo News-YouGov poll from August showed an independent run from Cheney could hurt Biden more than Trump in a 2020 rematch. Biden led Trump in the poll by 4 points without Cheney but trailed by 8 points with her as an independent candidate.

Andrew Yang

Andrew Yang, the businessman and former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, made news in October 2021 when he announced he was leaving the Democratic Party to become an independent. He founded a third party, known as the Forward Party, later that month.

Speculation about Yang’s presidential aspirations rose more recently in July when he announced he was joining forces with the Renew America Movement, made up of former Republican officials, and the Serve America Movement, comprised of Democrats, Republicans and independents, to come together behind the Forward Party.

Yang has been promoting the party as a center alternative to the two major, mainstream political parties, both of which he has said have become too extreme. The party platform focuses on finding common ground and uniting the country.

Yang said in an interview with CNN’s Jim Acosta after announcing the merger that he does not want to do “anything” to potentially increase Trump’s chances of returning to the White House. But he said he has not made “any conclusions” about the 2024 race except that the United States needs a unifying third-party movement as polarization expands across the country.

He said the party takes “not left or right but forward” positions on the issues facing the country.

Howard Stern

Radio host Howard Stern announced in late June on his radio talk show, “The Howard Stern Show,” that he was considering running for president in 2024. He said he would run if Trump becomes the Republican nominee.

He said an issue with most presidents is they have too large of an agenda, but his goal would be to make the country “fair” again. He said the first priority would be to eliminate the Electoral College.

Stern said he would also appoint five additional Supreme Court justices. He said on a later show that he would want actor Bradley Cooper to serve as his running mate.

Ye

Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, made a long-shot bid for the presidency in 2020 and he may try again. He said in an interview with ABC last month that he has future political aspirations.

He has been a supporter of Trump in the past. He ran under the banner of the Birthday Party but did not make the ballot in most states and did not impact the outcome of any state.

He tweeted the day after the 2020 election that he was looking ahead to the next presidential race, saying, “Kanye 2024.”

Dwayne Johnson

Actor Dwayne Johnson has hinted over the past several years about possibly running for president one day. He said he was considering it as early as 2016, tweeting out a piece from a news outlet about why he should run.

He said in an interview with USA Today in 2017 that he was “seriously considering” running in 2020 but ultimately decided against it. He said in the interview that his interest in running comes from a “large amount of people” who want to see him run.

“But I mean, honestly, there are so many different variables that have to come into play when you think about this,” Johnson said. “Politics is not my business. So the consideration is there. And we’ll just have to see. I’ll continue to watch and learn as much as I can.”

He said his goal would be to “serve the people.”

Johnson told Variety later in 2017 that 2024 would be the “realistic consideration.”

Killexams : Dems attack GOP candidate over women's suffrage posts after spending nearly $500K to help him win primary

Democrats who spent nearly half a million dollars to help a Trump-backed candidate win a Michigan congressional primary say the GOP must "answer" for that same candidate after his previous comments on the patriarchy, women's suffrage and differences between men and women resurfaced.

John Gibbs, who defeated Republican Rep. Peter Meijer in the GOP primary last month, has taken fire after CNN resurfaced posts he made while in college at Stanford, where he founded the "Society for the Critique of Feminism" to push back against claims that "a patriarchal society is inherently wrong" and to argue for the "headship of man over woman."

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), which spent $485,000 on ads apparently designed to boost Gibbs over his more moderate rival, Meijer, in order to make the race easier for the Democrat opponent in the November election, said the Republican Party needs to take responsibility for Gibbs and denounce him.

"The GOP must answer for a candidate who believes women having the right to vote has damaged America," said Matt Corridoni of the DCCC. "The real question is when the NRCC [National Republican Congressional Committee] will denounce Gibbs and remove him from their ‘Young Gun’ program. Their silence is deafening," he added.

In 2000, Gibbs wrote in a post linked to a Stanford webpage, which was archived by CNN, that Christianity may support patriarchy and that the biblical injunctions to not allow women in leadership roles in the church was based on human nature.

"…[B]ecause women do not posess (sic) the characteristics necessary to govern, and since women have a more important task to do, which is to prepare the next generation, they are commanded not to rule," the post says.

In another section, Gibbs wrote that women voting has led to a larger federal government "because women tend to vote more ‘socialistic’ than men, for larger and more intrusive government…"

Gibbs concluded that "the United States has suffered as a result of women's suffrage."

The Gibbs campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Gibbs, who worked in former President Donald Trump's administration, faces Democratic nominee Hillary Scholten in the Nov. 8 general election. Scholten called Gibbs' statements emblematic of the Republican Party.

"The assault on women’s rights is in full force. Not on my watch," Scholten tweeted Wednesday.

ABC PANEL CRITICIZES DEMOCRATS MEDDLING IN GOP PRIMARIES: ‘EMBARRASSINGLY HYPOCRITICAL’

Meijer, one of the few House Republicans to vote to impeach Trump, narrowly lost the primary to Gibbs, who benefited from the former president's endorsement.

After the primary, the DCCC appeared to celebrate Gibbs' win, referring to him as a "MAGA extremist" who would ensure Democrats would retake the seat in November.

Michigan Democratic congressional candidate Hillary Scholten is seen in an ad named "Tough." (Hillary Scholten for Congress)

"Last night, Donald Trump’s dream became the GOP’s nightmare. John Gibbs’ winning this primary seals the fate of Republicans hoping to keep this now Democratic-leaning district," the DCCC told Fox News Digital in a statement.

"An anti-choice radical who sided with violent insurrectionists and would throw out your vote if he doesn’t like it, Gibbs is no match for Hillary Scholten, who has dedicated her career to bringing people together to get things done. Republicans have no choice but to embrace their unelectable MAGA extremist candidate," the DCCC added.

Killexams : Do debates between candidates actually matter?

“The 360” shows you diverse perspectives on the day’s top stories and debates.

What’s happening

For much of modern American history, debates have been seen as a more or less essential part of any major political campaign. As much as candidates might squabble over the details ahead of time or claim they were mistreated after the fact, it was broadly assumed that they would at some point — or, frequently, more than once — meet in a formal face-off in front of the voters.

But that tradition has eroded over exact election cycles to the point where it’s become a genuine question whether some of the most important races in this year’s midterms might feature any debates at all. In state after state, candidates have been squabbling over the timing, circumstances and number of debates.

The debate over debates has been a central theme in Senate races in two of the most closely watched current contests. In Pennsylvania, Republican Senate candidate Mehmet Oz has repeatedly accused his Democratic opponent, John Fetterman, who suffered a stroke in May, of trying to avoid debates. A similar dynamic is happening in Georgia, but with the party affiliations reversed. Incumbent Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock had called out GOP challenger Herschel Walker for “dodging” several debate opportunities before the two campaigns came to an agreement on a single date next month. Both Fetterman and Walker eventually agreed to debate at least once.

The debate issue has emerged in a number of other races across the country. In Missouri, the Republican Senate candidate was a no-show at a candidate forum last week. It’s still unclear whether there will be any debates in the race for Pennsylvania governor. GOP candidate Doug Mastriano, who was at the Capitol during the Jan. 6 assault, has refused to participate in a traditional debate with an independent moderator. One key contest that definitely won’t include a debate is for governor of Arizona. Democrat Katie Hobbs has said she won’t debate “conspiracy theorist” Kari Lake, a Republican who has enthusiastically endorsed former President Trump’s lies about the 2020 presidential election.

Why there’s controversy

There are a number of theories for why candidates have become increasingly skeptical of debates, including a belief that the potential risks of gaffes greatly outweigh the rewards of a strong performance and the lack of perceived consequences for skipping them. Some also point to the GOP’s general rejection of the mainstream media, which typically provides a platform for political debates.

There’s also disagreement over whether this trend really matters. Debate advocates say the events offer a critical opportunity for voters to learn about the candidates and their policy positions outside of hyper-calculated campaign ads and stump speeches. They say debates can serve as a proving ground for those who voters may have questions about the aspiring politicians’ fitness for office. Many also worry that the decline in debates is a troubling symptom of a much broader shift in which lawmakers increasingly feel they don’t have to be accountable to the people they represent.

But others make the case that it doesn’t really matter whether candidates debate in person. They point to a significant body of research that suggests debate performance has little to no effect on the results of even close races. Some also argue that skill at debating is in no way representative of how someone will perform in public office.

What’s next

Debates have been scheduled in many of the high-profile Senate races across the country, all of them set to be held in October. It remains to be seen whether those events actually take place and whether they’ll play any role in deciding which party controls Congress for the next two years.

Perspectives

Healthy debates make a healthy democracy

“The value of debating in a democracy shouldn’t be understated. It’s a proven part of the process that helps voters become informed and make decisions on who is best to represent them in government. Voters deserve to know where candidates stand on certain issues, and debates and candidate forums are one of the best tools we have.” — Geoff Foster, executive director of Common Cause Massachusetts, to WGBH

Debates aren’t as enlightening for voters as many seem to think

“There’s not a lot of evidence we learn that much from debates in terms of policy content because the people who tend to watch debates are those who know a lot about the candidate and are tuning in to see their candidate win the same way you watch a sports game.” — Megan Goldberg, political scientist, to KCRG

Voters deserve a chance to see candidates as they really are

“The knock on debates is no one cares about them except the press. That they’re purely platforms for media outlets and media members. But they are more than that. They can show a candidate’s demeanor and temperament. How a candidate responds when challenged. They give voters the chance to hear candidate views. In their own words. In real time. Not through handlers. Not with press or pundit interruptions.” — John Baer, Penn Live

Good debaters don’t necessarily make good leaders

“There is campaigning, and there is governing. Two different things. … Campaign choices make a big difference, and the public cannot be expected to follow issues as closely as political professionals. And yet … in the end, it is governing that really matters.” — Nelson Morgan, Arizona Republic

Most debates are unimportant, but they can occasionally be decisive in close races

“General-election debates are usually dry affairs for which the competing camps have spent weeks preparing each candidate on how to avoid walking into political traps and rehearsing a few zingers that they hope the media will focus on in their post-mortem stories. But in very close races, small mistakes can prove decisive, or at least knock a campaign in the wrong direction for a few days.” — Paul Kane, Washington Post

Without real punishment for skipping them, a lot of candidates will see debates as unnecessary

“I like debates. I think candidates should do them & they risk bad press by not doing them. But from a campaign's perspective: 1. Debate prep takes a LOT of time 2. On an event with your opponent that rarely moves the needle 3. unless you screw up. So … if it's the case that you can skip debating, and the bad press doesn't matter because voters don't really care, then campaigns have every reason to skip them and spend more time on their own campaign activities.” — Bill Scher, political analyst

The debate over debates allows candidates to distract from issues that really matter

“The debates themselves are shaping up to be major campaign issues. It’s tedious, and it does not serve the voters.” — Editorial, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The decline of debates is a sign of how badly partisanship has splintered the country

“I don’t know how much utility they have … on the other hand, I do think it’s just a sad symptom of where we are in terms of polarization and candidates willingness … to even be in the same space with each other and talk about the same issues. It feels a little depressing to me.” — Amelia Thomson-Deveaux, FiveThirtyEight

Debates could play an important role in helping restore civility to U.S. politics

“I am hopeful we can get back to the ideal of debate, which allows citizens to be informed on the issues they need to confront. We are in a serious crisis of democracy, and we need to be able to figure out how to disagree without moving into the language of civil war.” — Tom Hollihan, political communication researcher, to U.S. News & World Report

Killexams : Candidates for governor meet in first debate

Democratic Gov. Ned Lamont, Republican challenger Bob Stefanowski and Independent candidate Rob Hotaling debate Tuesday at NBC Connecticut and Telemundo Connecticut studios in West Hartford. Photo courtesy of NBC & Telemundo Connecticut.

West Hartford ― Connecticut’s major party candidates for governor met Tuesday afternoon to debate for the first time since their final debate of the 2018 campaign.

The rematch between Republican businessman Bob Stefanowski of Madison and Democratic incumbent Ned Lamont of Greenwich presents mostly the same dichotomy, with the added element of Lamont’s record, which he ran on, or defended, most of Tuesday afternoon. The two had met recently in several informal forums ahead of Tuesday’s debate.

Independent candidate Rob Hotaling of Cheshire, who works in business and tech, joined the Republican and Democratic candidates onstage. Stefanowski attempted to get Hotaling off the ballot because of an alleged caucus violation, but was denied in court this month.

The gubernatorial candidates met at NBC-30 and Telemundo studios in West Hartford for a televised debate without a live audience moderated by Grace Gómez of Telemundo and Mike Hydek of NBC. The second and final gubernatorial debate will take place Nov. 1 at Mohegan Sun.

Abortion

Stefanowski has labeled himself as pro-choice but has mostly downplayed the abortion rights debate and the Dobbs decision, saying Connecticut is exempt because of state laws passed in the most exact General Assembly session.

The most explosive exchange of the debate came when Stefanowski was asked about his abortion stance.

“Roe v. Wade is codified in Connecticut state law. I’m going to protect a women’s right to choose,” he said, adding laws on abortion would not change while he was in office. He then took aim at Lamont and his campaign for attacking him on the abortion issue with TV advertisements.

“Governor Lamont has been lying for four months about my position,” Stefanowski said. “Governor Lamont, you should really stop doing it. And you should focus on the economy.”

Lamont in turn said Stefanowski has not been entirely clear on the issue.

“I think you’re scaring the women of Connecticut,” Lamont said. “You could’ve donated money to a pro-choice Senate candidate, instead you donated to Leora Levy, who pledged to outlaw a woman’s right to choose.”

Education

Asked about his “Parental Bill of Rights,” which includes a tenet barring trans children from participating in sports in some instances, Stefanowski said, “I fundamentally believe it’s unsafe and unfair for a biological male to compete against a girl in high school,” he said. “That’s not extreme, that’s common sense. We need to find alternatives for transgender athletes.”

Stefanowski echoed other conservative talking points on education matters Tuesday, saying, “We shouldn’t be introducing sex education into kindergartners who can barely tie their shoes.”

Lamont and Hotaling also said parents should play a role in shaping curriculum, but did not expand beyond that.

“I don’t need anybody pitting parents against teachers,” Lamont said.

Economy

Lamont and Stefanowski traded barbs all afternoon about Connecticut’s rainy day fund, which stands at more than $4 billion.

“This is the exact wrong time to be playing games with how we’re saving our money,” Lamont said, adding that if there’s a recession the state won’t have to raise taxes or cut education spending due to the surplus.

Stefanowski said the surplus monies should go to the Connecticut taxpayer, whether it helps with home heating oil prices, food prices or in other ways.

“That $6 billion is money Governor Lamont has taken from taxpayers that he doesn’t need right now,” Stefanowski said.

When Hydek corrected him on the current surplus of more than $4 billion, not $6 billion, Stefanowski said he was working from the projected surplus numbers, as it is expected to grow.

Hotaling said he agreed with Lamont that the surplus should be used to pay down pension debts, “but we should use some of those funds to close the achievement gap and invest in infrastructure.”

Lamont touted tax credits for car and property taxes, and a middle class tax cut instituted in the 2023 budget to “help deal with inflation going forward.” He said he was the first governor in 40 years not to raise the income tax.

Stefanowski argued his administration would support lower taxes than Lamont’s has, saying that if elected, he would stop collecting 200 fees that collectively generate less than 0.25% of the state’s revenue.

Hotaling said he’s in favor of eliminating business property taxes and motor vehicle taxes as well as lowering the income tax rate because he doesn’t believe Connecticut is a business-friendly state.

Stefanowski faced criticism during his 2018 campaign for governor for saying that the state should eliminate its income tax, and has since eased up on the position and mostly left it out of his 2022 campaign. But in July in New London, he returned to it, in the context of his June meeting with New Hampshire Republican Gov. Chris Sununu.

“Anyone want to guess what the income tax rate is in New Hampshire? Zero. Anybody want to guess what the state sales tax is in New Hampshire? It’s zero,” Stefanowski said at the time. “So people say it can’t be done, New Hampshire is the perfect example of how it can be done.”

Electric Boat was mentioned several times during Tuesday’s debate in the context of workforce development. The state is facing shortages — and has open positions — in fields such as policing, nursing and teaching, among other fields.

“We have to get 1,000 new workers up to Electric Boat over the course of the next 12 months,” Lamont said.

Hotaling argued that the state and Electric Boat share responsibility for training its workforce.

Stefanowski and Hotaling said the state needs to be more proactive in its training programs for trade jobs but Lamont said he’s put some such programs in place in collaboration with the state’s community colleges.

“College is terrific for kids who can afford it,” but small and medium-sized businesses need employees with specific skills, Stefanowski said.

Stefanowski and state Republicans have made inflation one of their key campaign issues. Lamont and state Democrats point to the surplus. Stefanowski has said he hasn’t seen any real benefit from the budget surplus, while Lamont has cited improvements in DMV wait times, access to daycare and availability of capital for small businesses.

Stefanowski argued that the state should privatize its infrastructure efforts in lieu of tolls, saying, “We need to bring in the private sector,” but, “not like we did with the State Pier,” where the state is picking up the project’s cost overruns.

In August at a news conference in New London, Stefanowski slammed Lamont for lack of transparency and cost overruns on the offshore wind redevelopment project at State Pier. Day columnist David Collins revealed in August that a federal grand jury has subpoenaed six years of port authority records as part of an investigation into the quasi-public agency.

Lamont and Hotaling did not say whether they were outright opposed to tolls. Lamont said the state has been able to fund transportation efforts for the first time in years in part because of the highway use tax on large commercial trucks.

Housing

Stefanowski said that although he thinks Connecticut needs to Excellerate its affordable housing options, he would like to repeal a state law that seeks to bolster the number of Connecticut’s affordable housing units. He said it threatens local zoning control.

Neither Lamont nor Hotaling want to repeal the law, which makes it difficult for towns without 10 percent of their housing stocks designated as affordable, to deny permits for affordable housing projects.

Crime

Asked about crime — a exact state report has crime down, with violent crimes up slightly — Lamont, Stefanowski and Hotaling all argued that police deserve more respect and, in terms of recruitment efforts, more money for both officers and departments.

Lamont said the crime rate is going down, “despite some of the fear mongering you hear.”

“Does anybody at home really feel like you’re safer than you were four years ago?” Stefanowski responded. He again said he would bring back qualified immunity for police officers. Asked after the debate how he would do that with Democratic majorities in both chambers of the state legislature, Stefanowski said he thinks some Democrats now realize they voted the wrong way on the police accountability bill.

“I think most of the Democrats realize we made a mistake, and we’ve tied the hands of police officers,” he said.

Democrats and Lamont have shown no interest in revising the law.

“Ninety-nine point nine percent of our police do an extraordinary job,” Lamont said. But, he added: “That person who had their knee on George Floyd’s neck for nine minutes should be held accountable.”

Qualified immunity, which partially protects police officers from being sued, was eliminated by the police accountability law passed in 2020 in response to the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police. The law makes it so officers can be held liable if they’ve knowingly violated a person’s rights.

Lamont has pointed out that no cases have been brought under the police accountability bill regarding qualified immunity.

Recent polls from Quinnipiac University and Western New England University/Channel 3 Eyewitness News/CT Insider both show Lamont with a comfortable double-digit lead over his Republican challenger. Stefanowski said in a news conference after the debate that there were similar polls in 2018, but the election ended up being close, with Lamont earning about 40,000 more votes than Stefanowski.

Telecommunications & information technology segment to account second-largest market share during the forecast period.

The EMI shielding market for the telecommunications & information technology accounts the second-largest markets share and is expected to grow at a considerable rate during the forecast period. In the telecommunications & information technology industry, the application of EMI shielding solutions is primarily due to implementation of 5G. 5G technology is more industry-centric than preceding technologies, such as 3G and 4G. 5G will transform the design of the current cellular system, which involves many devices such as small cells, radio access networks, and 5G chipsets. This, in turn, will create a large requirement for EMI shielding solutions to protect the devices from EMI, consequently boosting the EMI shielding market. Furthermore, the use of wireless consumer products has also increased. Due to rapid advances in wireless technology and the ongoing miniaturization of electronic devices, the EMI shielding market for the telecommunications industry continues to grow rapidly.

Conductive polymer is projected to hold a significant share of the EMI shielding market during the forecast year.

The use of conductive compounds, including conductive polymers and plastics, is increasing. When an electrical charge needs to be transferred in the material, polymers and compounds are modified to increase the conductivity, as most plastics are non-conductive. This has resulted in the development of conductive compounds with high conductive and shielding properties. Conductive polymers are flexible, lightweight, anti-corrosive materials with good surface conductivity. These are further categorized into conductive elastomers and conductive plastics. Conductive elastomers are widely used to design gaskets in various industries, and they provide both EMI shielding and environmental seals. Conductive plastics are used when the key concerns are the weight, form factor, and product design. As a result of their vast usage, conductive polymers are expected to contribute a significant share in the said market

Killexams : EMC Foundation hosts paint mixer to highlight Guyana’s unique ecosystems

On Sunday, September 25, the EMC Foundation, in partnership with the Herdmanston Lodge, held a paint mixer to raise awareness of Guyana’s unique ecosystems and their vital role in supporting biodiversity.

According to the Foundation, established by Shyam Nokta, its aim is to support environmental awareness and education in Guyana by promoting activities which encourage greater understanding of the environment, create a network to connect like-minded people and provide opportunities to experience Guyana’s rich natural environment.

“A picture paints a thousand words. Creative activities like painting inspire young people to reflect on their ideas and understanding of the environment and express them in unique ways. The colourful images are fun to create and convey powerful messages that encourage a greater awareness, appreciation, and love for Guyana’s ecosystems and biodiversity, and motivate the younger generation to protect them,” Nokta was quoted as saying in a statement issued by the Foundation.

It said more than thirty children, between eight and twelve years, were guided through marine and terrestrial themes by talented Guyanese artists Ransford Simon, Chris Bissessar, and Keyzah Bhola.

Zoya Samaroo, an artist and one of the Foundation’s coordinators, knows how art can create a lasting impact on young minds. According to Samaroo, “One of EMC Foundation’s main goals is to connect young creative minds while highlighting the importance of the environment. As an art enthusiast myself, I can think of no better way to get engaged than by getting your hands a little messy with vibrant colours while learning about the beauty of our natural world.”

The focus of the Foundation is to provide opportunities, especially for young people, to interact with nature and the environment so that they can develop greater awareness, appreciation and love for Guyana’s ecosystems and biodiversity. The turnout at the paint mixer demonstrated how eager the younger generation is to contribute to efforts to protect them.

“It is important to invest in children’s creative capacities. They are the generation for whom Guyana is conserving its nature,” said Yeşim Oruç, the United Nations Resident Coordinator to Guyana, who was present.

“It is wonderful to see them learning and being creative about the environment.”

The paint mixer follows the EMC Foundation’s scavenger hunt held in the Botanical Gardens on August 26, 2022, to raise awareness of the environment.

That event saw more than forty young people converge at the Botanical Gardens to find hidden clues. More environmentally-themed events are expected in the coming months, the statement said.
